About Us

Every Person Counts

We exist because there are always those who for whatever reason find themselves in financial difficulty to the point of hunger. Through our various programs (food pantry, hot meals, collective kitchen) we seek to provide effective and responsible support in a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere.

We are a non-denominational, Christian ministry,

started as an initiative of the Rocky and District Ministerial Association.

How our faith shapes our ministry:

a) we view and treat all people equally (no matter their race, gender, creed, ability, or lifestyle) as God's image-bearers, worthy of respect, dignity, and love.

b) we are shown by God's own example to be generous with all that we have,  and to provide for those who are in need.

c) We view ourselves as stewards of the resources entrusted to us, so we take care to be wise and responsible.

d) We believe God invites all people to have a relationship with Him through Jesus, and so we give opportunity for the Christian message to be heard, and offer prayer to those using our services.

e) We don't believe that a genuine connection with God is produced through manipulation or coercion, and so all of our religious services are non-compulsory.
