1985
History from 1985
In January of 1985, the congregation of Holy Trinity Anglican Church took it upon themselves to begin to operate a local Foodbank year-round , instead of just at Christmas time. Tony Bullman , the pastor of Holy Trinity took on the leader ship, and they began opening weekdays from 3-5 PM, closing on weekends. Food bags given out at this time were worth approx. $50.00. Cope made us 5 Food Bank boxes, and they were placed in various stores around town. The Food Bank did have some harsh times money and Food wise.
