Many of the neighbouring churches began to get involved about this time, and some of the staff were from these churches. Money was scarce in the early months, but things picked up as the year progressed as many of the businesses, schools, organizations, and churches started to have special events in order to help raise money for the Food Bank. In late April Andrew Hoskin took on the pastoral duties at Holy Trinity and took over the leadership of the Food bank from Dianne Stevenson . David Lester, currently the Pastor of Living Branches began to help in the Food Bank.
