Through the ongoing ministry of the Food Bank a number of people came to faith in Jesus as their saviour. In May, the staff decided to begin to meet once a month to review the operation and concerns of the Food bank. On August 3, we had a ‘FOOD BANK AWARENESS DAY' as a way of focusing people's attention on the Food Bank and it's needs, and to give people information about what we are doing in the Food bank. There was music, prizes, hot dogs, Pepsi. People were asked to bring a non-perishable food item with them. Fun was had by all!! The event was organized by Richard Einarson.
